Hello Kitty and other characters were featured at McDonald's restaurants in some Asian countries, in a celebration of Sanrio's 50th Anniversary.

It ran simultaneous to Marvel Heroes (McDonald's Malaysia, 2010). A similar pairing existed in Brazil, however with only Hello Kitty toys, see Hello Kitty (McDonald's Brazil, 2011).
