In 1987, McDonald's Happy Meal had a toy promotion for Jim Henson’s animated television series Muppet Babies. This promotion consisted of four toy sets, each set had a figure paired with a vehicle. The figures were removable from their respective vehicles. This set also included two U3 toys with no removable parts.

In Canada, the toy line consisted of five characters, with Baby Animal in a red wagon being added to the set.
Some of other figures were sculpted differently: for example, the US Baby Gonzo wore shoes whereas the Canadian Baby Gonzo was barefooted.
